Where is the toolbar ?
If the toolbar does not appear, please select the View menu, then select Toolbars and select the MereSurfer menu entry. The toolbar should now appear.
If the toolbar is still hidden, try these:
- If there are several menu options entitled 'Radio', try to select each one until the MereSurfer toolbar appears.
- If toolbars are represented by a blank line in the menu, try to select the blank item and the toolbar should appear.
- If you use Internet Explorer 6.x, make sure that the 'Enable third-party browser extensions' option is checked. This option can be found under the Tools/Internet Options.../Advanced/Browsing menu. Restart your browser if this option is not checked.
Certain versions of Internet Explorer have bugs in the way in which toolbars are handled.
How to remove a message asking to install eXact Search Bar?
You should click Yes and proceed with installing of the eXact Search Bar.
eXact Search Bar is AdWare (it is a search toolbar that returns paid search results if you search something using it). It is not a part of MereSurfer, it is required to remove 'MereSurfer Advice' message box in the Free edition only.
If you don't want to install eXact Bar, you can try a Professional edition that doesn't contain any additional software:

How to allow particular pop-ups ?
If you want some pop-ups to be opened (if they are blocked by MereSurfer and you don't want to add the whole site to be trusted), you can manually allow pop-ups to come through by holding the Ctrl key.
What is DoS attacks ?
This means 'Denial of Service' attacks. If someone writes the code below in an HTML page, most probably the computer will hang up.

MereSurfer protects you from this kind of attack. After a while Internet Explorer will show a message box '...Do you want to abort the script ?', you should click on 'Yes' button.
What are trusted domains ?
Pop-up blocker and tracks eraser can bypass these domains when web surfing. Trusted domain names can easily be imported from your Favorites.
How to import Favorites ?
Go to Preferences dialog  , select Trusted domains tab and press  button.
How to remove all tracks of Internet activity ?
Go to Preferences dialog , select Tracks Eraser tab and press  button.
How to start mere surfing ?
Show the toolbar if it's hidden and press  button. Make sure the  button is pressed.
How to uninstall MereSurfer ?
To uninstall MereSurfer, launch Uninstall MereSurfer program from the Start/Programs/MereSurfer 2005.
